That One-

It's too early to think what time it is
she chain smokes to forget the conversation
no matter what she does she can't
forget the situation

she can't say what the problem is
only knows it is unfixable
she is lost among the pieces
of one who was invincible

one who knew it front to back
no questions- only answers
one who turned inside to solve
not smoked these sticks of cancer

her hero- the one she loved
now the one not here to see
it's ridiculous, the way the cries,
thinking where that one could be

now it's only her
alone in this place of shame
no one sees her weaknesses
no one knows her name

all she knows is what she knew
when that one was still around
she is what is is because she became
what was left of that one never found.
